I might have been focusing on health and self improvement for quite a while now, I still wake up low on energy, not feeling great at all, almost every morning.
Listening to one of many podcasts today, I was reminded of an area that I can still improve on a lot and something that might solve the above issue:
The thoughts I'm having before I go to sleep.
Although I try to make it a habit to practice some gratitude at this time of the day / night, I know I could still be way more effective in what thoughts I practice before the subconscious takes over
( and, according to the 'law of attraction', starts working on fulfilling your wishes and desires - based on your most active thoughts - whether they're positive or negative, trying to bring more of them into your life )
As Wayne Dyer said in this particular podcast episode:
Go over all the things in your life that are the way you want them to be. Or, to be more precise think of them the way you want them to be. As if it's already reality.
Your subconscious ( very active when you sleep ) doesn't know the difference between the thoughts you are thinking and the life you are living. So start focusing on the life you want to live, the person you desire to be, by actively thinking about it.
"You can heal - and change - your life."
So what are you waiting for? Try this tonight, before bed, around the time you're close to falling asleep. Five minutes should be enough. Let's work some magic.
I plan to do the same and will do my utmost best to make this a habit.
