FADE INTO

INTRO

Zen music is playing softly in the background

What day is it again? Friday?
Another week has passed and - as us humans are keeping track of time - that simple fact is something worth mentioning.

Little Hyper has been pretty social in the last couple of days but also quite distracted for reasons he won't name. He even did more hugging than the week before, for as far that's possible with his little raptor arms.

I'm not sure about you though, dear reader. So let's see what mindful content we can come up with this time, to increase your level of ZENsitivity.

Before we move on to a bunch of people who I recommend following, instead of the news, first make sure to

take a deep breath in...
hold your breath for a couple of seconds...
and let the air out with a sigh.

If that felt good, feel free to repeat the process.
If it didn't, you should probably do a lot more mindful breathing ;<)

I was gonna introduce you to this new user who seemed to hardly be noticed until days ago. In the last couple of days, this changed a lot and I'm happy for that. Nevertheless, I was meaning to introduce @thisismylife to you all today and I won't break that promise that I made to myself.

Known as Hellosunshine ( gotta love that name! ) on Discord, @thisismylife recently joined the Natural Medicine community. I like their vibe!

It was this post on Dot art or pointillism that piqued my interest. It did very well, so I invite you to vote on another, more recent post, this one for instance: Dot Art Project No 2 of this user if you like. No matter what, it might be fun to follow their dot-art-on-dough series.

And now on to:

@juanvegetarian ( I like the ring to that name, it almost rhymes but doesn't )

In Mindfulness Meditation and Stir Fried Veggies he writes:

With all that is happening now, I still believe that all is well in the world. The invisible hand of destiny quietly guides us, unpretentiously and without prejudice. The magnitude of the Coronavirus pandemic is unnerving and the quarantine protocols set in place has taken a toll on us because not everyone can meditate all day.

I 100% agree with this and literally said something along those lines to a visiting friend this afternoon.

I invite you to read Juan's full post here, where he takes us on a little personal meditation journey.

And then, while looking for more content to curate, a post by @ianperic showed up on my time line ( a user I vaguely remember to have come across in the not too distant past.

What he shares with us here is a 15 minute morning meditation. I'm pretty sure you can also try it as an evening meditation ( his gentle and peaceful voice might make you fall asleep ).

You can watch this meditation video here and find more meditation videos on his blog

If you want to know the person behind the videos, here's his recent introduction video
I just learnt that - like me - he's working on a children's book. Awesome! :<)

**Is it illegal or not done to curate friends' posts on here? If so, I'm sorry but not really, as I like to break the rules and her write up is very much worth it.

In Diving Deep with Yin Yoga@mamrita starts out as follows:

As I wrote in my last post I haven't been feeling so well lately, last week I suffered from a terrible headache and it was a challenge to stay mindful and to take care of myself. I feel better now though and I'm slowly getting back to my 'normal' routines (whatever that look like since my life doesn't really have much structure at the moment, but that's different topic and also something I usually don't really find challenging).

She then dives deeper into yin yoga, her past experiences with it and a recent practice. It's inspiring and something I have considered doing for quite a while. This might just be the final push that I needed.

Thank you @mamrita :<)

And then, looking for a 5th person to mention in this week's curation, I came along this intriguing artist, Sarah Louise Johnson:

@ultravioletmag

Apparently she offers a variety of FREE ( correct me if I'm wrong, Sarah ) workshops via Zoom these days as can be seen here:

I am seriously considering to join in on one of these calls, probably the Art workshop on the 23 although I'm even considering the 'Raw Uncooking' one, the day after tomorrow.

It would be fun if some of you would join me? What do you think? :<)

FADE TO

OUTRO

It's almost time for this mindful peace loving dino to stop staring at screens and to make himself comfortable in his bed cave with a good book ( yeah, dinos can read too ).

Putting together the above curation eased his mind and made him turn from Hypersensitive to a more ZENsitive mind state.

I really hope the same goes for you.

Until next week and make sure to stay safe, sane and ZEN!

Much Love,

SuperZENsitivosaurus
