To add some context to the above: Kobus was one of two actors in our experimental, 2015/16 project Hidden Humanoids. It was a project written / thought out by Ted and me but ( partially ) filmed by the actors themselves. In the end, the latter was one of the main reasons why the project didn't make it past 7 episodes. It is extremely hard to direct from a distance. Even more for actors to direct and film themselves. It was a fun experiment though and Ted and I look back on this experience with a huge smile on our face.
To get back to Kobus, the guy must be 80 years old now and only started acting after his retirement. We admired him for his energy, creativity and pro-activeness. Even now, years later, he's still stalking Ted via Twitter. Pretty cool, right?
The picture above this post represents 'Dracusa'. I believe it was a brainchild of our actor. Although, I now remember that I asked him to not just talk about the creature but also draw it. ( Ted and ) I still love the video that Kobus sent us. A video that - eventually - ended up being the last episode of our Hidden Humanoids project.

Next week is going to be very busy for me, but I still want/ need a day for us to chat
Off the record - I finished up some green screen work today and realized that I could give the shadow creatures distorted faces. Not sure if I want to though - sometimes just because I can do something doesn't mean I should do it.
Thinking more of a jump scare with that.
