I haven't written a lot lately,
am trying to be more and do less,
to focus on things that make me feel better, in this crazy year.

I also realize more and more that I want to paint more often.
Not just every now and then but possible daily.

It's about time that I start to live up to the name that my parents gave to me - Vincent - even though I went through a phase, as a young boy, where I preferred the name 'Simon'.

For those who don't get the reference, the Dutch Painter Vincent van Gogh ( I was born in Dutchland too ) inspired me a lot as a kid. Interestingly enough it never really got me to paint, I merely focused on drawing, writing and filmmaking. The last couple of years my main focus has been on writing but I feel something is lacking:

The painting.

It's about time to change that!

The following is the result of playing around with watercolor paint and being playful with sand. It's nothing special but I like the overall feel of it. It was based on my view, at the river, but ended up looking very different. The main thing is that it made me feel good. Mission accomplished!

And for those who are wondering...

Yes.

My writing - the life of hypersensitivosaurus - is always in the back of my mind. I plan to do quite a lot of it next month. Where November 2019 got me to write 50k words ( thanks to Nanowrimo ), I might actually make use of Nanowrimo 2020 to edit my story. I'm not gonna put any pressure on myself though, it didn't feel great last year. No need to force myself to write daily but partaking in nanowrimo, once again, will surely motivate me to write more than I've been doing lately.

See you around and I really hope that you're doing plenty of stuff that makes you feel good. We're not living to suffer or working just to live or survive. Keep aiming for the things that raise your vibration. Others will only benefit from you feeling as good as you can feel.
