How are you feeling?

Different every hour.

That's the reply that I made up today and that I used, when villagers asked me the
cliché, polite, small talk question:

Tudo bem?

I have become more and more aware of the power of words.

And especially since catching the flu ( in mid air ), a handful of days ago, I had to start being extra careful of my thoughts about my health and how ( much ) I talked about the subject with others.

If you're saying that you're sick, you're just strengthening your belief, making it a truth. If you say that "you're getting better, one step at a time", that's a way more positive and helpful statement.

As I like to be honest, to speak the truth and I've never liked saying that "all is well" when I was clearly not ( feeling ) well, I had to come up with a more original and helpful answer.

From now on, that's gonna be:

(I'm feeling) different every hour.

Not only is this a funny answer, it's also very much the truth and not negative at all. We are all feeling different every single hour, as no moment is the same.

I could say:

"different every single minute" or even "second", but that might sound a little extreme to some and it would probably lead to a follow up question, which kind of takes away the fun and mystery of the reply and the idea behind it.

How ( much ) do you talk about your health with others and how aware are you of the power of ( these ) words, changing into your believes, changing into your truths?
